My Story...
In 2004, I went through my first real 'valley of the shadow' as an adult...the grieving of a child. When people say they are in a pit, that is exactly where I was, in a pit of despair. No amount of medication or talk therapy seemed to help. It was, then, that I went on a journey of discovery about myself, God, and suffering. Since that time, I have lost a husband to cancer, my mother to dementia, and found that God will give you the strength you need for the day (Deuteronomy 33:25). Through Max Life Coaching, LLC, I hope to share what I have learned with others, who are struggling, and guide them to Jesus, who can give them real life (Zoe) (John 10:10).
Hi, I'm Crystal Maslow, MACM
Welcome to Max Life Coaching, LLC and to 16 years of experience in Christian Counseling and Certified Mental Health Life Coaching. Since 2009, when I graduated from Erskine Seminary with a Master of Arts in Counseling Ministry, I have been working with women, adolescents and children, who struggle with ADHD, anger management, emotion regulation, grief and loss, addiction recovery and many other areas. I have worked at John de la Howe School as a Clinical Therapist, at Connie Maxwell Children's Home as a Christian Counselor and Case Manager, and currently work part-time for A Place for Us Ministries (where I have been a Life Coach, Residential Director and now Assist for the Our Farm program). I launched Max Life Coaching, LLC in January 2025 to offer my services to more women and youth; thus, to see more lives changed by God's amazing grace.
